MRI & CT Scanner Suite, Gisborne Hospital
City Construction constructed the scanner suite within a courtyard adjacent to Gisborne Hospital's radiology department for a new CT scanner and Magnetic Non Resonance Imager (MRI).
The radiology department had to remain open throughout.
Special features included specialised cooling, lead lining in the walls and doors, a copper-clad Faraday cage and perfectly-level flooring.
